The Curious Case of Benjamin Button

Watched "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" last friday.. It's a 2hr 45 min show.. Although it seems long, they are very detailed in every part.. It's a very emotional, sad, beautiful and truly touching movie.. Of cos it's creative in the story line and the way they explain every stages of Benjamin had went through, his emotion, his body, his age, the way that people look at him... Definitely OSCAR-worthy.. Both thumb up!!! :)



At once epic in scope and intimate in detail, David Fincher's THE CURIOUS CASE OF BENJAMIN BUTTON is certainly the director's most emotional film to date ( based on an F. Scott Fitzgerald story, this romantic drama tells the tale of Benjamin Button (Brad Pitt), born in 1918 in New Orleans as a baby with wrinkles, cataracts, and arthritis. Benjamin will age backwards, getting younger as he watches those around him growing older. Included in that group are his adoptive mother, Queenie (Taraji P. Henson), and Daisy (Cate Blanchett), the love of his life whom he meets when she is just a little girl and he is an old man. They age in reverse, but despite Benjamin's globe-trotting adventures, their lives repeatedly intersect. The script from Oscar winner Eric Roth bears more than a few hallmarks in common with his earlier work on FORREST GUMP: both adaptations cross decades and continents. But BENJAMIN's script or even the fine acting aren't its most impressive accomplishment; the technology--both CGI and makeup--used to make Benjamin and Daisy age are remarkable, and makes the film entirely believable, but they're certainly aided by fine performances from both Pitt and Blanchett. The triumph of technology only serves to underscore the beauty of this film and of the love story at its heart.

Came back from my HK trip on monday!! Tiring.. haha.. walk till legs pain pain... lol. hehe. overall not too bad.. :).. Took alot of photos.. will upload later.. Uploading the video i took 1st.. hehe...

Enjoyable day

Today is a happy day!! Fin work at 6pm.. then darlin come and fetch me... He booked 9pm movie.. We drove down to vivocity and had our dinner at the bus interchange there.. Had e-mee.. nice! Darlin had fish soup with rice... We very long time never eat like tat liao.. Since we still have some time b4 movie tine, we decided to walk walk around vivocity... Darlin hold my hands and walk around... He bring me to the pet shop at vivocity to look at pets because he's unable to bring me to farmway to look at pets this coming sat.. :)... All the dogs there so cute!!!!! but ex.. almost 2K for a toy breed.. hmmm.... wahahaa.. nvm.. i got my stupid twinkle, i'm happy liao.. haha... Finally it's time for our show.. Darlin go and collect our ticket and we got 2 bottles of water for using capitaland card.. hmmm... we didn't know tat when we use... haha.. but nvm.. free one... y not.. lol.... It's an enjoyable day.. We never really go out, eat, shop and movie for sometimes liao... Darlin saiyang me the most... hehe.. muack muack, my baobei darlin.. :D
